Greensboro, N.C. – This holiday season, Crown Honda of Greensboro, an award-winning Honda dealership, is proud to team up with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve to collect toys for the Toys for Tots Foundation. The Toys for Tots Foundation seeks to provide a tangible sign of hope to economically-disadvantaged children in the community during Christmas.

Due to the overwhelming donation of toys the past two years, Crown Honda of Greensboro is excited to serve as a Toys for Tots drop-off location for the third straight year. This year, the dealership’s goal is to fill two Honda Ridgeline trucks to the brim with toys.

“Last year, we filled one Honda Ridgeline truck, but this year I’m confident we can get to two,” said Jeff Hicks, general manager of Crown Honda of Greensboro. “Every child deserves the opportunity to experience the magic of the holidays, and I encourage the Triad community to come together for Toys for Tots so that we can meet our goal. Help us make a child’s dream come true!”

If you would like to participate, please bring a new, unwrapped toy to the dealership showroom at 3633 West Wendover Ave. in Greensboro by December 14, 2011.

The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is a not-for-profit organization authorized by the U.S. Marine Corps and the Department of Defense to provide fundraising and other necessary support for the annual Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.
