New partnership between Atex and Zissor to revolutionise the publishing industry
Press release from: Atex
A partnership announced today between two global businesses, is set to revolutionise the publishing industry, as media companies will be offered a second opportunity to monetise content.
Atex, a global software solutions provider for media-rich industries, is strengthening its position as market leader by teaming up with Zissor, a world-leading supplier of end-to-end solutions for industrial conversion of newspapers and other physical documents to electronically searchable information.
Atex will now offer high quality and cost-effective solutions for archive digitisation, which will open new income sources for publishers, increase traffic to its portal and help maintain stakeholder satisfaction.
Zissor has been a global provider of digitisation software and services for the last 15 years – not only for archive digitisation, but also as a supplier to the media monitoring industry. Press clipping agencies, from BurrellesLuce in the US, to Klipp in Dubai, use this technology to gain significant competitive advantage in their market.
Jon Asakskogen, CEO of Zissor, comments: “This is a significant partnership, which enables us to offer an extended ‘one-stop-shop’ solution to publishers. Zissor is proud to be affiliated with Atex and to be launching our first project in Brazil early next year.”
Alexandre Carvalho, CEO for Atex Latin America, adds: “Atex and Zissor are both global suppliers in the same market, and we are confident that this collaboration will bring unparalleled technologies and solutions to the media and help them to boost their income.”
