A seasoned practitioner with more than 25 years of public accounting and industry tax experience, Mr. Birkeland spent the last 10 years leading and growing the tax practice in Grant Thornton’s Minneapolis office. He has been with the firm for nearly 30 years.

A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Mr. Birkeland received both his B.S. and M.S. in Taxation from the University of Minnesota.
