Istanbul / Frankfurt, November 24 – Tasit.com, an automotive classifieds site based in Istanbul, reports an external financing round from German based investors for the further ramp up of its business in Turkey.

The funding will enable Tasit.com to invest in its dealer acquisition activities, to accelerate its marketing efforts and further enhance the product platform functionalities.

Turkish internet economy has recently gained some attention of investors. Turkish used car markets is on it its own very interesting for it has shown and will continue to show substantial growth rates as the number of new car sales have increased year over year parallel to a thriving Turkish economy. With the internet becoming a standard part of Turkey’s young population (average age is roughly 28) the used car market will gradually move online over the next years. The investors, led by Corporate Finance Partners, also comprise areRI Digital Ventures GmbH and a number of well know Germany business angels.
