(openPR) - 18 November 2011, The Honorable Governor of Virginia, Robert F. McDonnell started his maiden visit to Bangalore from the QuEST Bangalore campus. The Governor evinced keen interest in the operations of the Singapore based, pure play Engineering Services firm located on Outer Ring Road, Pritech facility.

The Governor's delegation included James S. Cheng, Secretary of Commerce and Trade, Paul H. Grossman, Jr., Director of International Trade Division, Albert Maiolino, Managing Director – Americas/Australia/India, Kavan Bhandary, VEDP, International Investment, India and James D Duffey, Secretary of Technology. He is visiting Bangalore in an effort to gain insights into industries in Karnataka and evaluate growth prospects with the state of Virginia.

He was received at QuEST Global, by Mr. Ajay Prabhu – Chief Operations Officer, QuEST and his team of business leaders. During his visit the two leaders exchanged notes on several points including growth and providing employment opportunities to local talent within the state.

Commenting on the occasion Ajay Prabhu said” Many of QuEST’s strategic customers are doing business in the State of Virginia, which is home to many Aerospace & Defense companies. The Governor is on a marketing mission to promote the State Of Virginia. He has also met with leaders in Indian auto manufacturing, health care and energy. Within the next two months, McDonnell said, he expects to be able to announce deals with Indian companies to start or expand existing business in Virginia.
