Introduces a NEW Colour service, ‘Colour Click’ in its NEW engaging website

New Delhi, October 11, 2011: Do you want the colour of your wall to complement the colour of your furniture and the designing of your room? Dulux Paints has the perfect solution for you. Dulux has introduced an innovative new application called the ‘Dulux Colour Click’ which takes colour customization to an advanced level of selection.

Colour Click sits comfortably on the new website of Dulux; www.Dulux.in

Colour Click is a unique colour scheming tool that allows the consumer to take inspiration from any colour of their choice from any item of their choosing (curtains and sofa fabrics, cushions, dresses, paintings,) etc and then find colour combinations and design schemes that go with the selected colour.

So, how is it done?
Every consumer is provided with a colour frame that he uses to capture the colour of his choosing. This frame interacts with a Colour calibration back-end and the consumer gets to know the closest shade that matches with the chosen shade from the Dulux Colour Palette. Dulux Colour Click allows consumers to explore interesting colour schemes and can get paint in the chosen scheme for their homes. So if you want the colour of your walls to match that of your sofa just take a picture of the sofa and leave the rest to Colour Click!

3 easy steps to perfect personalised paint schemes...

1. Upload a photograph of your item using the Dulux Colour Frame
2. The Dulux Colour Frame identifies your photographed item and finds the nearest Dulux Shade to match or contrast with that
3. Our experts then provide you with a choice of paint colour schemes to go with your item.
4. Go to http://www.dulux.in/ to try this out

Speaking about this initiative, Pushkar Jain, Marketing Manager, Dulux, says, “Research supports the fact that consumers are increasingly getting on to the net, be it for social networking, email, chat or using services online. As colour click integrates both physical and digital platforms, we expect consumers to find this as an engaging experience. The colour decision making process starts with the consumer having a colour in mind (usually inspired by elements of their home decor) followed by him/her exploring suitable shade combinations that go with it. So applications like Colour Click would help them choose and finalize colour schemes, at the click of a button.”

The NEW Dulux Website:

The new Dulux website indeed gives more power to the consumer with enhanced aesthetics and simplified navigation. The website has been designed in a comprehensive and user friendly way, to make it a one stop shop for consumers searching for painting services or anything to do with paint.

A quick look at the new features of the website.
1. A Google maps based store locator which helps consumers locate the Dulux store closest to them
2. Consumer help through the Colour Click and Paint Calculator applications which guides consumers on selecting colour schemes and getting to know the costs involved in painting respectively
3. Information of the latest colour trends and global fashion for walls with the 2012 Colour Futures study
4. Integration with Facebook
5. Vibrant, visually appealing and colourful
Talking about the new website, Pushkar Jain, says, “At Dulux, we are strongly focusing on the digital arena to engage with our consumers. In keeping with our global philosophy of ‘Let’s Colour’, which is all about transforming spaces with colour, we have revamped our entire website to give more power to the consumer. Considering the time consumers spend online, it becomes imperative for us to provide a whole range of paint solutions which are a click away. Through our interactive, visual and consumer friendly language we have tried to make the website a delight for consumers to experience and use.”
