Press release from: Hillsides

Bob Fisher, Owner of The Ice House Comedy Club, with Ed Patterson, Hillsides Volunteer Network President
“We are so fortunate to have generous supporters in our community like Bob Fisher and the Ice House,” said Joseph Costa, Hillsides chief executive officer. “Events like these enable our volunteer support groups to provide enriching activities for our vulnerable children.”
The anniversary show featured an amazing array of comedic talent including Comedy Central Star John Caparulo, Saturday Night Live star and Weeds TV star Kevin Nealon, from the Magic Castle and a great silent magician Dale Salwak, and a hilarious comic Don McMillan.
The oldest operating comedy club in America, The Ice House Comedy Club has continuously run stand-up comedy for 51 years, featuring such acts as Robin Williams, Lily Tomlin, George Carlin, Steve Martin, Bob Newhart, Billy Crystal, Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, David Letterman, George Lopez, Ellen DeGeneres, Tim Allen, and others too numerous to mention have all wowed audiences in its intimate 200 seat showroom.
During its five-decade tenure, The Ice House has become a legend in the comedy industry and, in Pasadena, a generous supporter of Hillsides’ mission. For the past twelve years, Fisher, recipient of Hillsides Lifetime Achievement Award and Special Recognition Award, has donated all the proceeds of its anniversary show to Hillsides Volunteer Network. Not only has Fisher brought laughter to more than four million people, his talent in captivating guests has brought laughter to Hillsides children through the numerous activities this event supports. In addition, Fisher has hosted “An Afternoon at the Ice House” for the children living at Hillsides. These special days include a special performance and lunch.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
Gabriele Ketterl,Director Marketing & PR, Menads
