Thompson & Knight Attorney Appointed to UTHealth Development Board

Meyerson has been appointed to The University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston (“UTHealth”) Development Board. Meyerson will serve a three-year term, which began in September 2011.
Meyerson is a Partner in Thompson & Knight’s Real Estate and Banking Practice Group and serves as the Firm’s Houston Office Leader. He focuses his practice on various aspects of commercial real estate, including the acquisition, disposition, and development of all types of commercial property. He has extensive experience representing borrowers and lenders with mortgage financing, debt restructuring, workouts, and problem loans. Meyerson has been consistently recognized by top legal directories, including Chambers USA, The Best Lawyers in America®, and Texas Super Lawyers®.
He is involved with a number of professional and civic organizations including the Anti-Defamation League (Chairman of the Southwest Region, 2008), The University of Texas College of Education Advisory Board, Houston Longhorn Club (President, 2001-2002), Texas Exes Houston Chapter (President, 1995-1996), Houston Real Estate Lawyers Council, State Bar of Texas, and the Houston Bar Association. In addition, Meyerson is the former Chair of the Thompson & Knight Real Estate and Banking Practice Group.
