Improved Waste Management with LF 125kHz /134kHz FDX/HDX RFID TAGs, Readers and Antennas from the RFID Experts TECTUS Transponder Technology
Press release from: TECTUS Transponder Technology GmbH
(openPR) - Moers, 01.11.2011 RFID in the waste management application has a long tradition and several installations are operating well by using RFID TAGs in household bins to invoice the production of waste by use.
Based on the long term RFID experience and on requests from international customers who are active in the waste management area TECTUS has built a bundle of RFID system technology especially for the use in rugged environment. The RFID bundle consists of a stationary LF RFID reader with the possibility to connect up to 3 RFID comb or air coil antennas to identify the TECTUS M30 TEC PLUG RFID TAG (transponder) mounted in the chipnest of wheelie bins and also rugged handheld PDA with the option to read the RFID TAG and barcode as well. The industrial PDA can be easy handled by taking it out of the vehicle cradle to use it to read transponders on bins manually. The PDA can also be used in parallel as a board computer and supports the truck driver with the GPS function and inbuilt car navigation option.
Different shapes of transponders are available in the most often used frequency LF 125 kHz and 134 kHz and optional as HF or UHF versions as well. The transponder shapes for the waste management are manufactured in rugged IP68 housings for mounting in the 30 mm chip nest or on the bally of the plastic or metal bins or containers. Beside the stationary or mobile RFID readers to be used in the vehicle TECTUS offers from their wide RFID product portfolio also a desktop reader /programmer for setting up the system in the administration office. TECTUS „The RFID Experts“ offer the complete RFID system component solution including TAGs (transponders) for the waste management application which cooperate best possible with the stationary and mobile readers. If required TECTUS can offer ATEX certified RFID waste management system component solutions for hazardous area as well.
TECTUS Transponder Technology GmbH www.tec-tus.de (located in Moers, Germany) is the leading ATEX RFID system component supplier of readers and transponders (TAGs) and specialised expert company for applications in industry & logistics, maintenance, waste management, ATEX, security & access, and animal identification. Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
