Press release from: Celerant Technology Corp

October 31, 2011 (Staten Island, New York) – Celerant Technology, a leader in the retail software industry, was highlighted in the CPA Practice Advisor’s 2011 Retail/POS Review for the third year in a row. This year the CPA Practice Advisor focused on software that offers point of sale features and functionality for maintaining a successful business. Celerant Command Retail again received top scores in all areas.

“We are honored to be included in the CPA Practice Advisor’s Retail/POS Review for a third time.” stated Ian Goldman, Celerant President and CEO. “We strive to produce top-of-the-line retail management software and we are always updating our offerings to better suit our clients’ needs. Most notably, we offer an accounting interface to include Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable modules, as well as an internal General Ledger, allowing our clients to perform sophisticated functions directly within the Command Retail system.”

The CPA Practice Advisor’s 2011 Retail/POS Review provides an in depth overview of point of sale software companies and products. Celerant Command Retail received a score of 5 out of 5 in all categories: Basic System Functions, Specialized Features/Services, Tracking/Reporting, Integration/Import/Export, and Help/Support. The review states, “Celerant Command Retail is a real-time software product designed for retail businesses of all sizes. Completely integrated, Command Retail provides retailers with a full POS solution that includes inventory management, warehouse management and E-Commerce functionality. Both brick-and-mortar and online stores will appreciate Command Retail’s extensive options, all designed to make retail management more efficient."

Celerant Command Retail was said to be easily customizable “to suit a variety of retail businesses, including apparel, furniture, hardware, sporting goods, convenience/grocery stores, and gift/specialty shops. Touch-screen capability is easily supported and, as previously noted, the E-commerce module easily integrates with the core POS product, eliminating double entry and manual sales.”

Celerant Command Retail provides retailers with a real-time, complete software solution that fully integrates the point of sale with back office functionality, inventory control, warehouse, distribution, allocation, advanced reporting and E-Commerce. Command goes beyond these functions and provides users with both front and back office financial tracking ability and easy integration with other third-party accounting applications, including QuickBooks, Peachtree, Microsoft Great Plains, and MAS 90 and MAS 200.
