Werum Manufacturing IT Conference with record attendance

Lueneburg, Germany, 26 October 2011 – The 13th international PAS-X User Group Meeting took place from 13 to 14 October 2011 in Lueneburg, Germany, with a record attendance. On the invitation of Werum Software & Systems AG, almost 200 pharmaceuticals experts from approximately 20 countries exchanged their thoughts and ideas on the use of the PAS-X production management system by Werum in the production of pharmaceutical products.

User reports, including those from Janssen Biologics, Novo Nordisk and Sandoz, provided the conference participants with insights into how manufacturing execution systems are implemented in practice and what challenges they face in the process.

The PAS-X User Forum, in which many Werum customers are organized in special interest groups, presented its results. The forum supplies decisive impulses for the continuous further development of PAS-X and other industry requirements.

As part of a special evening event on 13 October 2011, Werum celebrated the grand opening of a new office building on the company grounds in Lueneburg. The cube-shaped building became necessary due to the increased number of employees. Werum currently employs approximately 450 people at nine sites worldwide.
