“I have always been very compassionate about dogs and cats, and was thinking one day about how I could take something I enjoy doing and turn it into something that would help the animals too. That is when the idea came to me,” said Jeff Schmidt, President of Dog-gone Sauce Company. “So, after a lot of work developing the product with feedback from friends, I’m proud to introduce an exceptional line of gourmet sauces to the animal loving world.” Schmidt said “I donate the proceeds to Animal Shelters and Rescues and I’ve also developed a program, called Helping the Animals. I wanted to create a program where, with no cost from their budget, places like the Humane Society are able to sell the products and get the proceeds they need immediately.”
