Jesus as the Logos and the Son of God: Examining the Doctrines of Eternal Sonship and Eternal Generation

Casa Grande, AZ - Jesus as the Logos and the Son of God: Examining the Doctrines of Eternal Sonship and Eternal Generation by ordained minister Robert King joins the chorus of other Bible commentators and theologians in expounding the position that Jesus was the eternal Word who became the "Son" only at the incarnation. He joins a growing group of well-recognized Christians who denounce the creedal statement "begotten before all the ages," including such notables as Dr. Ralph Wardlaw, Dr. Walter Martin, Dr. Ridgeley, Dr. Adam Clarke, Dr. Robert Shank, and others.

The book consists of strong biblical support with a extremely thorough examination of almost all pertinent passages discussing the nature of Jesus prior to the incarnation. He also discusses the early church evidence and proves through quotations of early church documents to show how the original belief of the apostolic fathers like Ignatius was later deliberately corrupted by those holding a different view in the second century. According to King, this corrupted view then found its way into the creeds.

The book is now available at Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com.
