viimagic showcases its new range of 2/3” HDTV sensor solutions at VISION 2011 exhibition in Stuttgart
Press release from: viimagic
(openPR) - Villingen-Schwenningen/Stuttgart - viimagic GmbH, a leading manufacturer of 2/3” HDTV CMOS sensors, introduces its feature-rich global shutter HDTV sensor series 922x. The new 2 Megapixel sensors exhibit uncompromised full 1080p HD even under low-light conditions at frame rates up to 240 fps. With DDS (correlated Digital Double Sampling) processing, frame rates up to 120 fps are achievable. Operated in HDR (high dynamic range) operational modes the new viimagic product realizes a dynamic range of more than 120 dB.
The CMOS devices incorporate a fully integrated high-speed control unit that is programmable via SPI interface. This concept offers equipment manufacturers increased flexibility and ease of implementation. It allows for faster system integration time as well as reduced BOM cost for peripheral components compared to traditional designs.
Viimagic’s 922x sensors offer up to 16 configurable LVDS output channels with a maximum data rate of 1.2 Gbit/sec each.
As another highlight at the viimagic booth is the presentation of the color-sensors in slow-motion. This application shows the enormous capabilities of the product generation.
Visit viimagic and Framos at booth E77 in hall 4.
viimagic develops and distributes high-sensitivity image sensors for high-resolution cameras used in broadcast studios, for traffic monitoring, in the security sector and for both industrial and medical applications.
The range of services includes the entire spectrum from development and sale of standard sensor product lines and the creation of individual customer designs to sensor integration support in customized systems.
