The 2012 Grand Prix Ball is set to kick of the British Grand Prix at Silverstone in style.
Over recent years the event has seem amazing headliners such as The Sugababes, Rebecca Ferguson, and of course BBC F1 pundit and former team owner Eddie Jordan and his band The Robbers. The colourful Irishman similarly compered the evening – admitting last year that 'I've been to a lot of events at the Hurlingham and I've never see it look as good'

Performers for 5 July prestigious soirée at set to be announced soon, the event is held as always in aid of the UK's leading children's cancer charity CLIC Sargent

As well as live performances, other entertainment will include a special display of F1 cars from 2012 right back to the very early days. Guests will include the biggest names in the industry as well as many other high-profile celebrities. The red carpet was adorned last year by the likes of Damon Hill, Jade Ewen, Beverley Knight, Nancy Dell'Olio, Elen Rives, Liz McClarnon, Blake, Rick Yune and many more.

The hundreds of expected guests will be treated to a champagne reception on the stunning lawns, followed by a sumptuous three-course meal. They will also be provided with the opportunity to bid in a charity auction, the proceeds of which will go to CLIC Sargent.

Last year, a staggering £50,000 was raised, with the target to exceed that total twelve months on. Every day, ten families are told their child has cancer, and CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all-round care and support, from providing specialist nurses to social care and helping survivors and the bereaved.
