(openPR) - Certification underscores bigger healthcare commitment

Nuremberg, September 30, 2011 – Effective September 16, Bühler Motor GmbH, and its sites in Monheim and Nuremberg, has now been officially certified in accordance with DIN EN/ISO 13485/AC:2009.

Best practice tracability via documentation of all processes and procedures is a major part of this important medical standard. ISO 13485 is based upon ISO 9001, which Bühler achieved in 2002. In 2009, Bühler was certified in accordance with AS/EN 9100 for the aerospace industry. And in 2001, Bühler was certified in accordance with the environmental standard ISO 14001, showing their consistent focus upon sustainable and environmentally friendly processes.
