The Alcumus Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Drury PSM Limited (“Drury”), one of the UK’s leading HR, employment law and health & safety outsourcing companies.
The acquisition of Drury will augment the compliance and workplace risk management expertise of the Alcumus Group, which includes highly regarded operating subsidiaries Sypol, Info Exchange and ISOQAR.
Established in 1991 and headquartered in Bradford, Drury, through its professional team of experienced consultants, provides expert advice and guidance on complex compliance issues; services include health & safety audits and risk assessments, health & safety policy development, preparation of employment contracts, HR and employment law advice and employment tribunal representation and support.
Drury also offers its customers 24 hour advice lines and has recently developed an online tool, ‘Essentials Online’, which enables clients to access their working documentation and manage essential everyday HR and health & safety matters via the Drury website. In addition Drury offers a range of HR and health & safety training courses designed to provide awareness and understanding of the many aspects of both legal requirements and best practice.
Chris Whittam, a leading industry figure who has over seventeen years’ experience of the HR and health and safety compliance and advice market, joins the business in the new role of Director of Drury PSM.

The acquisition of Drury was supported with funding and transactional expertise from Sovereign Capital, the UK’s leading private equity Buy & Build specialist. Led by Phil Hinson, Director, Sovereign initially backed Alcumus in August 2009 and has since assisted the ongoing development of the Group.
