"Every year in the lead up to the festive season we see an increase in sales of used long wheel base vans, as they're the ones used by couriers and delivery companies," said Simon Joyce, Sales Director for Anchor Vans. "It's simply the time of year when vans are upgraded in anticipation of one of the busiest periods in the year for deliveries. A courier doesn't want to struggle with an unreliable van, especially as the weather gets colder."

When asked which models tend to be used as courier vans, Simon replied; "There are four models in particular that we sell a lot of at this time of year.
