(openPR) - Moers, 30.09.2011 Answering on requests from international customers who have the approved TECTUS RFID technology already in use, the RFID experts from TECTUS expand the wide RFID product portfolio, which contains multiple RFID transponder shapes and portable and stationary RFID readers from all established RFID frequencies (LF, HF and UHF) by adding a new multi-functional Desktop-Reader.
Being a member of the TLx-30-Reader family the new desktop RFID reader is useful due to the multi-protocol feature to read and write both 125kHz / 134kHz FDX transponders of types EM4200 (optional EM4305), NXP Hitag 1 and Hitag S, Atmel ATA5577 and Q5, and also Tiris 134 kHz HDX Multipage/ ISO11784 /ISO11785 / BDE compliant transponders. Typical applications are in the waste management and animal identification and in all kind of rugged applications where a desktop version for office desk or on the industrial workbench is beneficial. For the use in the field robust IP65 handheld versions with nearly the same functionality (also in HF and UHF) are available.
