Thompson & Knight Expands Corporate and Securities Practice with Addition of Anna Marie Dempsey

(openPR) - Houston (September 29, 2011) – The global law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce that Anna Marie Dempsey has rejoined the Firm as a Partner in its Corporate and Securities Practice Group in Houston.

Dempsey focuses her practice on advising clients on corporate governance, securities law compliance, capital markets transactions, mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and general corporate matters. She has represented clients in the oil and gas, retail, manufacturing, technology, aviation, and health care industries. Dempsey received a J.D. from the University of Kansas Law School in 1991 and a B.S.B, with highest distinction, from the University of Kansas in 1988. She was previously an Associate in Thompson & Knight’s Dallas office from 1991 to 1994, and most recently worked for Jones Day in Dallas.
