Brand Labs Designs New Volusion Store for WeatherBug

Brand Labs announced that it helped WeatherBug®, the brand behind the popular desktop application, website and smart phone mobile apps, launch its new custom Volusion store. Brand Labs is Volusion’s enterprise development partner.

WeatherBug’s new store marks their debut on the Volusion ecommerce platform.

“Since WeatherBug wanted a new way to provide their WeatherBug Plus product, it was essential to design a streamlined page that was as user friendly as possible,” explains Kevin Harman, Brand Labs’ president. “We were able to create a solution that bypasses the need to use a virtual cart entirely, and simplified the process down to just two clicks.”

With its familiar ladybug logo, the WeatherBug brand is one of the most recognized providers of weather information. Initially launched in 2000, the WeatherBug desktop application provides detailed local weather information from thousands of weather stations across the country. Today, the WeatherBug desktop and mobile phone apps, in addition to the WeatherBug website, provide global weather information from the largest weather observing and lightning network in the world to approximately 40 million unique users every month.
