Bullets4Peace launches in the UK
Press release from: Bullets4Peace UK
(openPR) - Ireland/ UK – 28th September 2011
21st September was World Peace day and Bullets4Peace UK & Ireland could not imagine any better date to launch their website in the UK (www.bullets4peace.org.uk)
Bullets are generally symbols of chaos and destruction, when a bullet is fired the tip flies towards the target and the casing falls to the ground. Manufacturers reload these casings with live ammunition. Bullets4Peace intercepts this vicious circle by transforming the bullet casings (taken from reload centres, streets and warzones) into unique and stylish fashion jewellery pendants insuring that these bullets will never find their way back to war zones, thus promoting harmony and peace.
Each handmade necklace recycles a real bullet casing decorated with pewter and silver casts. Some of the jewellery pieces include crystals or even LED lights. Peace signs, dolphins, microphones and crosses are among the nearly 100 different pendants styles available.
Bullets4Peace also supports several charities around the world with its own company program “Every Bullet has a target”. A contribution of the proceeds from the handmade jewellery goes towards the charities.
Celebrities, such as Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Max Adler (Glee), are supporting Bullets4Peace with their pendants helping to spread consciousness of peace and the charity’s work. Wisin & Yandal are featuring Bullets4Peace in their music video “Tu Olor” and SkyBlu from LMFAO is wearing his Microphone pendant from Bullets4Peace in their music video “Party Rock Anthem” (Every day I’m shufflin’).
On their newly launched Facebook Page (Bullets4Peace UK & Ireland) you have a chance to win one of their beautiful pendants. Just like their Page on Facebook and be in for the draw.
