Exchanging Business Cards To Go Mobile At TiEcon

New Delhi, September 22, 2011: During TiEcon 2011, the organizers of the event, Silicon Valley based global entrepreneurship group The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), will release "TiE Connect", a Mobile Application for iPhone and android that is aimed at fostering networking among entrepreneurs. Users can feed in personal information such as name, email id, mobile, designation and brief introduction into the application, and this would be exchanged with fellow entrepreneurs using the TiE Connect Mobile app just by bringing their mobiles in contact with each other.

TiE Connect, which is already available for download on android phones, will be used by people from different backgrounds over the two day mega event that is focused on recognizing the importance of entrepreneurship in India as it has become a mainstream activity that has had a powerful impact on society.

The application provides a range of options, which will allow entrepreneurs to network with each other through requesting a meeting with a fellow TiE participant by category or industry, scheduling meetings, and viewing pending requests from fellow participants. Using this application, entrepreneurs will find it easier to network at TiEcon Delhi 2011, apart from listening to most accomplished thinkers & practitioners taking part in the event.
