Faculty Development Programme On Optical Communication And Networking By Fiber Optika

Bangalore, India, 09/10/2011: Faculty Development Programme on Optical Communication and Networking was held at Velamman Engineering College, Chennai. The two-day programme was attended by twenty five faculties from various colleges in the city. Fiber Optika, manufacturer fiber optics training solutions, was invited to demonstrate different modules on cutting edge technologies including EDFA, WDM, FBG, OADM and OTDR.

An extensive demonstration of Light Runner consisting of several experiments was done by Fiber Optika in the programme. A total of 38 experiments were conducted of which 16 were conducted using Light Runner Standard, 10 using Light Runner Basic, 10 using Light Runner EDFA and another 11 using Light Runner WDM. All the experiments were thoroughly successful without even a single failure.

The demonstration was hugely appreciated by the participating faculty members as well as others.
