V-Soft, Inc. Releases Spectra 1.3: Real-Time Speech-to-Speech Translation

San Jose, CA September 20, 2011: V-Soft, Inc., a Silicon Valley based Mobile Application Development Services provider has collaborated with a major U.S. based corporation to release the second version of the widely recognized Spectra Language Translation mobile application. Spectra is a revolutionary iOS mobile application that allows users to accomplish real time speech-to-speech language translation for a number of languages.

Recently released at Apple’s iTunes Mobile Application Marketplace, Spectra 1.3 bridges the language barriers between conversational partners by providing a seamless translation of user’s input into the language of his/her partner. Spectra 1.0 was released with the capabilities to perform language translation between English, and Spanish; Spectra 1.3 has the capabilities to translate Chinese-Mandarin, French, Japanese, German and Italian as well as the languages in Spectra 1.0.

In addition to a wider range of language translation capabilities, Spectra 1.3 also has an Automatic Language Detection feature which allows Spectra to automatically detect which of the two languages is being spoken or typed; Subsequent to detecting the language, Spectra will automatically translate the source language into the target language. The Automatic Language Detection feature will be ideal for face-to-face conversations where individuals might take turns talking to each other across the language barrier, without having to repeatedly swap the source and target languages. The Automatic Language Detection feature is currently supported for all the language pairs involving English.

Spectra 1.3 is expected to be a game changer in language translation with five additional language capabilities, and many linguistic experts believe the Automatic Language Detection feature will make language translation a seamless process for individuals from all around the world. Currently available for download on Apple’s iTunes Mobile Application Marketplace (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/spectra/id432494549?mt=8), V-Soft, Inc. takes great pride in the development of Spectra 1.3.
