Dallas Attorneys William Chamblee, Jeffrey Ryan Earn Places on the 2011 Texas Super Lawyers List

DALLAS – William H. Chamblee and Jeffrey W. Ryan of Dallas-based Chamblee Ryan Kershaw & Anderson PC have earned places on the prestigious 2011 Texas Super Lawyers list.
The names of Mr. Chamblee and Mr. Ryan will appear in the October issue of Texas Monthly, which publishes the Super Lawyers list each fall. Mr. Chamblee’s tireless efforts in general litigation landed his name on the Super Lawyers list. The Texas Super Lawyers organization identified Mr. Ryan’s excellence in the civil litigation defense legal category. Both attorneys have appeared on the Texas Super Lawyers list several times. Only 5 percent of all lawyers in the state are included in the list.
“This honor means a great deal to me because it comes from our peers in the Texas legal community,” says Mr. Chamblee, one of the firm’s founders. “More than 70,000 of Texas’ lawyers were asked to identify the best attorneys in the state to create the Texas Super Lawyers list, and our names rose to the top.”
Mr. Ryan said, “This praise reflects all the hard work that each member of the Chamblee Ryan legal team pours into our casework.”
Each candidate for the Texas Super Lawyers list is evaluated by the Super Lawyers staff for both peer recognition and professional achievement, examining the verdicts and settlements lawyers have won on behalf of their clients, among other factors.
Earlier this year, the lawyers at Chamblee Ryan won a take-nothing verdict on behalf of a Flower Mound, Texas, restaurant that faced a $10 million lawsuit, based on claims that the business had over served a patron before a fatal car accident. Over the course of a two-and-a-half week trial, the firm employed strong video evidence to convince a jury that the restaurant abided by TABC rules.
