New Multi-Protocol, -TAG and Multi-Interface OEM LF 125 kHz/134kHz RFID Reader „Made in Germany“ from TECTUS
Press release from: TECTUS Transponder Technology GmbH
(openPR) - Moers, 09.09.2011 The RFID experts from TECTUS Transponder Technology have expanded their wide product offering which contains multiple RFID transponder shapes and portable and stationary RFID readers covering all popular RFID frequencies (LF, HF and UHF) by adding a new multifunctional RFID reader.
One benefit of the new device is the multiprotocol feature. It allows the read and write (programming) of 125kHz/134kHz FDX transponders of types EM4200 (optional EM4305), NXP Hitag 1 and Hitag S, Atmel ATA5577 and Q5 and in addition also the support of Tiris type 134 kHz HDX Multipage/ ISO11784 /ISO11785 or BDE compliant transponders. Users can make a choice of external rugged IP65 rated RFID antennas which are congenial to the OEM RFID reader board TLB-30-MIO and the IP65- housed stationary reader version TPF-30-MIO which is also available. Typical applications for the readers are in the waste management or animal identification area and these could be beneficial also in all kind of other applications where ruggedness RFID readers are required. In addition to the previous mentioned read and write multi functionality by covering multiple TAG (transponder) types the main electrical features of the reader are beside the low power consumption the good read- write performance, the onboard selectable interfaces TTL, RS232, RS485, USB und (I2C/ SPI- hardware prepared), 1 Input (Opto), 1 relais Output (to support access or log devices or needed functions in the automation application), the feature of wide voltage range of 10…36 Volts.
The available external antennas which match with the TLB/TPF-30-MIO reader can be found in the provided Antenna Selection Guide. Customized antennas are also available on request. To be mounted in industrial automation and other applications the antenna could be connected via cable up to 15 m long distance from the reader device which makes the installation for example in conveyor application flexible.
TECTUS „The RFID Experts“ offer the complete RFID system component solution including rugged TAGs (transponders) which cooperate best possible with the stationary and mobile industrial readers. If required TECTUS can also offer RFID products and solutions for hazardous area applications.
