(openPR) - A team from London-based company Voices.com will be participating in the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike Event, cycling to raise funds for a worthy cause.

Tuesday August 30, 2011, London ON - Voices.com has registered a team to help fight heart disease in the Heart & Stroke Big Bike Event scheduled to ride on Wednesday August 31st. Comprising of fifteen riders, the Voices.com team will mount the Big Bike at 4 p.m. embarking from Jubilee Square at the John Labatt Centre. Their 25-minute round trip will cycle through London’s downtown core, pumping up awareness and funds for heart health. Monies raised will help to fund vital research that can ultimately save lives.

Six organizations will be joining the effort with rides taking place at 12 noon, 12:30 p.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Warm-ups ensuring the teams are well prepared will be presented courtesy of “Groove.” A group of dancers from Dance Extreme will also be performing.
