CMO Birla Sarvajanik Hospital Pilani Dr RK Jain Chief Guest JMA Janmashtami Celebrations
Press release from: JMA Pilani Rajasthan
(openPR) - While every school in India today has many celebrations during the year, one which invariably stands top rankings in the heart and soul of all is Janmashtami.
Located in the heart of Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, Pilani is well known for various educational institutions, CSIR Laboratory CEERI as well as the upcoming BrahMos Missile Assembly Project unit. Jamuna Mishra Academy – JMA established in the year 2004 which has been making rapid strides in early childhood education is presently one of the most sought after schools at Pilani Rajasthan.
JMA which started with an enrollment of 60 students for the Nursery, LKG, First Junior and Class1 has grown today till Class VIII with well over 500 students. While the school admits both boys and girls, the girl student enrollment has been steadily rising every year and is presently close to 50% of the total strength which itself is a matter of pride in a state like Rajasthan which had alarmingly low record of girl’s education.
Janmashtami or Gokulashtami marks the celebration of the birth of Lord Sri Krishna. This festival signifies the birth of a great teacher of humanity whose very name ignites the spark of the divine power in every one of us. Though the pouring rains at Pilani sought to be a dampener and an obstacle to the Goverdhan Giridhari Janmastami celebrations, the enthusiasm of the children ensured that the event was observed with religious fervor, gaiety and enthusiasm.
For the Janmashtami celebrations at JMA Pilani held on 20 August 2011, the Chief Guest was none other than Dr RK Jain the CMO of Birla Sarvajanik Hospital Pilani. Dr Rakesh Kumar Jain has been an integral part of the hospital from 1982 onwards and will be completing in the coming year thirty years of selfless service at this hospital for providing quality health care to students, faculty and staff and their families of various educational institutions as well as Pilani public at large. When Dr Jain cut the ribbon and triggered the celebrations, it goes without saying that there was a thunderous applause.
The children of JMA dressed as Krishna, Radha, Rukmini, Satyabhama, Narad and gopis danced for the song “O Kanhaiya” to depict the famous episode of what constitutes true bhakthi involving the weighing of Krishna with loads of gold by Satyabhama as against Rukmini tilting the balance with just one Basil (Tulsi) leaf.
Dr Jain accompanied by his wife thoroughly enjoyed the dance drama performance by the children and had a word of praise for the Principal Mrs Booma Natarajan and the team of teachers who had trained them. When the celebrations ended, the parents and children who had come for the function left with beaming faces and pride that they were indeed part of an institution which is a shining jewel in the crown among the schools at Pilani.

Comments about openPR
OpenPR ist the nicest and most clearly laid out PR platform I have seen to this day. The press releases are displayed very nicely and clearly and without any unnecessary frills.
The updates are fast and the finished release looks appealing and is clearly legible.
Even with 16 years of experience one discovers new things from time to time.
Congratulations!
