Toddlers Will Be Crowned National Champions at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park Saturday, September 3rd
The Strider Cup U.S.A. Championship will determine the first-ever Strider Cup National Champions on September 3, 2011 at E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park, 1500 Freys Hill Road, Louisville, KY 34237.

The race will be held in conjunction with the 34th and final National Bicycle League Grand Nationals held at the world-famous Derby City BMX track. The 2, 3, 4 and 5-year-old Strider classes will be featured directly after each set of Pro motos during the NBL race program on Saturday. Every racer will earn a medal for participation in the race and the top three finishers in each age group will be awarded trophies during a finish line podium ceremony. At day’s end, the 2-year-old, 3-year-old, 4-year-old and 5-year-old Strider Cup USA National Champions will be walking around the Derby City BMX grounds with proud smiles!

The race entry fee is $20 for pre-registration and $30 to register at the race. Registration is limited to 200 racers. Each parent of a non-USA BMX member must sign a waiver for the child and must bring a copy of their birth certificate or passport for proof of age. For more information or to pre-register, visit www.nbl.org/strider-world-cup-us-championship/.

Also featured on Saturday will be the top BMX Racing pros in the world during a UCI Class 5 qualifier race. The entire family can see their heroes up close and personal during the Pro Autograph session Saturday afternoon.

“We are indebted to the NBL and USA BMX for supporting the Strider Cup as we launched it around America at their events this season,” says Strider Inventor and CEO Ryan McFarland. “The Strider PRE-bike is the perfect way for any aspiring cycling star to learn the basics of balance and bike handling.”
