Cortex-M3 Flash MCU

Cortex-M3 Flash MCU

Planegg, August 5th, 2011
Atlantik Elektronik GmbH presents the new HT32F125x family based on the 32-bit Flash MCU device series. This is Holtek´s step into the 32-bit world.

Using an ARM Cortex-M3 core, these new 32-bit general purpose Flash MCUs include features such as a high operating speed up to 72MHz (90 DMIPS), a single power supply with an operating voltage range of
2.7V ~ 3.6V, an industrial temperature range of -40°C ~ +85°C.
These features make the devices perfectly fit for medical products, computer peripherals, home appliances, personal health care products as well as portable devices.

By including Holtek´s In-System Programming (ISP) and In-Application Programming (IAP) integrated functions, users will experience the implementation of software upgrades as an easy and quick process, thus enhancing product efficiency and flexibility.

The HT32F125x device series contains 8K ~ 32K bytes of Flash Program Memory and 2K ~ 8K bytes of SRAM Data Memory together with an 8-channel 12-bit 1Msps high speed A/D converter and multiple newly designed General Purpose Timer Modules. These Timer Modules can implement functions such as Timer/Counter, Capture, Compare, Single Pulse Output and various PWM modes. The important issue of power management is well provided as the devices include multiple power management modes, a power reset, multi-level low voltage and brownout detection etc.

In addition to operations using an external crystal, the devices also contain precise RC oscillators providing both 8MHz and 32 kHz fully internal oscillator frequencies internally.

The devices are supplied in 48-pin LQFP package types and contain up to 32 GPIO pins. Additional functions include fully integrated real time clock, operational amplifiers and comperators, USART interface, SPI interface, I2C interface etc.

The new range of devices is well supported by a variety of tools from IAR, Keil und CooCox.
