Petrofac selects 3W Networks as Telecoms & Security Systems Integrator for Qatar Petroleum

3W Networks, the regions premier systems integrator has been awarded multiple projects in Qatar Petroleum.
UK based EPC contractor Petrofac will develop two new Gas Sweetening Facilities in the Mesaieed and Dukhan oilfields of Qatar Petroleum. These include a sulphur recovery upgrade at NGL-3 in Mesaieed and an acid gas recovery plant in Dukhan. The projects duration will be 38 months with completion scheduled for mid 2014.

3W Networks has been selected as the Telecoms and Security Systems Integrator for these projects.

The Telecoms scope of work includes the Detailed Design, Engineering, Procurement, System Integration, Factory Acceptance Testing, Installation & Commissioning of the Public Address & General Alarm system, Field Telephones, Optical Multiplexor and Outside Plant, in addition to upgrades and modifications of the existing Mesaieed network.
