(openPR) - Tampa, Florida, July 28, 2011 – GMx Solutions announces the availability of the LASER ALERTS SMS Service, now available as SaaS. This service provides a simple interface for text communications to individuals and groups, regardless of the recipients’ carriers.

“Originally developed for the property management industry to selectively provide residents with alerts and general information, it provides a function applicable to all industries facilitating immediate communications to targeted audiences with one instance” says GMx Solutions CEO Alan Preston.

While other SMS services send to only one recipient at a time and require specification of the recipient’s carrier, LASER ALERTS sends to multiple individuals and/or groups with one submission and no carrier specification is required. There is no limit to the number of recipients and submissions can be scheduled.

GMx will customize LASER ALERTS to work with an organization’s SQL Server, MySQL, PostScript, or Access database and will plug in to its application or website address book.
