(openPR) - Dallas, TX--Kane Russell Coleman & Logan PC is pleased to announce that Viking W. Tao has been elected a new Director of the Firm. Ms. Tao is a 2000 graduate of Beijing University School of Law and 2003 graduate of Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University.

Ms. Tao practices in the Firm's Business & Corporate, Real Estate and China Practice Groups. Her experience includes advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and partnership negotiations and dispute resolutions. She has experience in a wide array of sectors, including real estate, hospitality, oil and gas, new energy, banking, insurance, health care, software, textile, and consumer products. She also represents real estate developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and banks in connection with the acquisition, sale, leasing, construction and financing of hotels, shopping centers, office buildings and apartment complexes.

As a member of the Firm's China Practice Group, Ms. Tao advises Chinese companies in establishing their presence in the U.S. and in connection with their strategic expansion in the U.S., such as asset and stock acquisitions and establishing strategic alliance with American businesses. She also advises American companies in connection with their investments in China and business negotiations with Chinese companies.

Ms. Tao currently serves on the Board of the Greater Dallas Asian American Chamber of Commerce and is the general counsel of the U.S.-China Chamber of Commerce of Dallas.
