Test data management vendor, Grid-Tools, launches a new communication strategy

Grid-Tools, the leading test data creation and generation, data masking and test data management software vendor, launches a new communications strategy.

Grid-Tools, who recently discussed their expansion into US markets, have attended and presented at various security software events over the last twelve months, including Information Security 2011 and StarEAST. They have attracted interest globally whilst educating about their ‘data-centric’ approach to provisioning test data for non production environments that is fit for purpose. The test data management specialists have now announced the roll out of a new communications strategy.

General Manager and Commercial Director Richard Groves commented: “As we have grown it has become increasingly important for us to develop a strategy for communicating with our customers, partnering companies, prospects and other contacts globally. As our test data management suite of products and services is constantly evolving it is only sensible that we establish methods of regular communication to educate about updates to Datamaker and new features such as Simple data masking.”

Planned communication initiatives for 2011 have been revealed to include a series of webinars, comprising sessions on test data management for beginners, data masking, and data creation / data generation, all with reference to the Grid-Tools data quality methodology. These are soon to be promoted to all of their contacts. This is also supported with a newly launched quarterly eNewsletter, as well as further exploration into social media, including Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Their new eNewsletter was launched in the first week of July and has so far received promising results with an open rate well above the software industry average. Richard continues: “We are very pleased with the reception that the new eNewsletter has received so far. Our inboxes are full of marketing messages we just don’t have the time to trawl through even if we are interested, so we had to make sure that our message was totally succinct with links to further reading for those who choose to read more.”

More information about the test data management webinar series has been promised to follow over the summer months with sessions planned to begin August for partnering companies and in September to customers and other contacts.
