viimagic expands activities for the new global shutter image sensor in the Asian market
Press release from: viimagic
(openPR) - July 2011
After the successful participation at the international trade fair for machine vision in Shanghai, viimagic increases its activities for the new global shutter image sensor in China.
In addition to expanding the direct sales network , viimagic visited the leading vision show in Southeastern China – between June 29 until July 1, 2011 at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Hall.
New contacts showed big interest in the new global shutter HDTV sensors which are an exciting opportunity to expand the sales in China. The new feature-rich 2 Megapixel sensors in 2/3” optical format exhibit uncompromised full 1080p HD even under low-light conditions at frame rates up to 240 fps. With DDS (correlated Digital Double Sampling) processing, frame rates up to 120 fps are achievable. Operated in HDR (high dynamic range) operational modes the new viimagic product realizes a dynamic range of more than 120 dB.
Some customers started already to specify a system concept for applying viimagic global shutter sensors with the help of our customer support team. It shows also that high quality CMOS sensors with high frame rates become more and more important for numerous applications in China.
viimagic develops and distributes high-sensitivity image sensors for high-resolution cameras used in broadcast studios, for traffic monitoring, in the security sector and for both industrial and medical applications.
The range of services includes the entire spectrum from development and sale of standard sensor product lines and the creation of individual customer designs to sensor integration support in customized systems
