Press release from: DISTREE Events
(openPR) - PARIS, SAO PAULO, LONDON, DUBAI, and MOSCOW –DISTREE Events has formally announced that Intel and Microsoft are both participating in this year’s DISTREE Latin America as Platinum Sponsors. The inaugural DISTREE Latin America will take place at the Jequitimar Sofitel in Guaruja, Brazil, from September 13th to 15th 2011.
“We are delighted to have both Intel and Microsoft as Platinum Sponsors of DISTREE Latin America,” explained Farouk Hemraj, CEO at DISTREE Events. “Both companies have experienced the unique channel benefits offered by DISTREE Events in other regions.”
The event gathers together senior executives from the region’s leading IT & consumer electronics (CE) distributors, retailers and e-tailers for pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with the regional management teams from dozens of vendors looking to expand, develop or launch channel operations within Latin America.
“Both Intel and Microsoft have significant influence in the Latin American channel through their business relationships with hardware manufacturers and channel partners,” added Hemraj. “We thank them for their support as DISTREE Latin America reaches out to unite the wider channel community at this year’s event.”
DISTREE Events has more than a decade’s experience of running business-focused channel development events. The company already operates events covering Europe, Russia & CIS, the Middle East and Africa. DISTREE Latin America will offer easy access to major buyers from across this vast region in one place at one time.

In addition to Intel and Microsoft, DISTREE Latin America is also supported by Gold Partner Port Designs and Silver Sponsor G Data. Research house GfK and Brazilian distributor association Abradisti will both present during the event’s conference programme. Dozens of channel publications from across Latin America are already signed up as media partners.
