Press release from: 21Publish
(openPR) - Friday, September 15, 2005 (New York) – BusinessWeek, a leading global business media organization, has retained 21Publish, a company offering turnkey solutions for starting corporate blog portals and blog communities, to establish a blog community supporting prospective business school students, current students, and alumni. BusinessWeek’s entry into the space marks it as one of the largest publisher in the world to have launched a blog community open to the public.
With 21Publish expertise, BusinessWeek has customized a fully-hosted, no-software blog portal that is fully integrated with the magazine’s front-end website presence and backend customer management and content management systems. The initial deployment of the blogging community is to help prospective students connect with current students, current students to connect with one another, and prospective graduates to connect with alumni.
“We believe that customer loyalty blogs built around conversations happening within natural communities will be the next wave of blogging. We will be able to provide blogs to thousands of business school related bloggers” said Peggy White, General Manager, BusinessWeek. “Of the vendors we looked at, 21Publish provided the best turnkey, and scalable solution for a blogging community that was consistent with the BusinessWeek brand and vision.”
“We are proud to have BusinessWeek as a lighthouse customer for an innovative and valuable blogging community comprised of end-user generated content,” said Stefan Wiskemann, CEO of 21Publish. “21Publish’s relationship with BusinessWeek as both a customer and partner will enable 21Publish to demonstrate both the power and ease of use of its product.
