Press release from: Furniture From The Barn

Manayunk, PA, June 20, 2011 - Furniture designer and entrepreneur Kelly Kelly of Furniture From The Barn, will showcase her one-of-a kind, American-made reclaimed barn wood furniture pieces at the Manayunk Arts Festival, June 25 and 26 in Manayunk, Pennsylvania.

Furniture From The Barn designs, builds and hand-finishes country chic furniture pieces made from reclaimed barn wood from 18th century barns that have aged to perfection. The workshop is located on Michael and Kelly Kelly’s 10-acre farm in Nottingham, Pennsylvania. “We work creatively with our customers to measure, design and hand-craft one-of-a kind furnishings that are functional and complement any home or office décor,” said Kelly.

A green, sustainable and eco-friendly business, Furniture From The Barn not only recycles reclaimed barn wood to build their furniture, but pieces are finished with natural products like tung oil and milk paint to help minimize the company’s environmental footprint.

This is the first time Furniture From The Barn will be featured at the Manayunk Arts Festival, in Manayunk, PA. Kelly commented, “We’re thrilled to join the Manayunk Arts Festival. It’s the region’s largest outdoor juried arts festival, and will introduce Furniture From The Barn to a wonderfully diverse group of attendees that may not know about our ‘workshop in the country,’ our famous farmhouse tables and other one-of-a-kind furnishings. ”
