US Data Erasure Software Leader Now Certified by European Security Group
Austin, TX (openpr ) June 20, 2011 - Tabernus, leader in data erasure solutions, announced today that the Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG) which is part of the UK Government Communications Headquarters, has certified the latest version of Tabernus’ data erasure software, Enterprise Erase v5.4.Certification is awarded when software has met all of the criteria for secure erasure of magnetic media in accordance with HMG Infosec standards. After independent testing carried out by QinetiQ, a British global defence technology company under contract to CESG, the latest version of Tabernus has been formally certified for government use to securely erase protectively marked data and added to the CESG Directory of Infosec Assured Products.
