Press release from: Panasonic
PR Agency: AxiCom
The PT-DW730ES and PT-DX800ES Delivers Exceptional Picture Quality, High Reliable Operation and System Flexibility
Wiesbaden, Germany, June 15, 2011 – Panasonic Europe today announced the addition of two new 1-Chip DLP™ projectors with new lamp drive system for increased brightness and a new Eco Filter for less maintenance. Part of the best selling D6000 Series, the PT-DW730ES and PT-DX800ES are compact in size and ideal for use in higher education, museums, government control applications and installs that require 24/7 hour operation.
To achieve exceptional picture quality, The PT-DW730ES features 7,000 lumens of brightness with 1,280 x 800 pixels WXGA resolution and the PT-DX800ES features 8,000 lumens of brightness with a 1,024 x 768 XGA resolution. Both models come with Detail Clarity Processor, which enhances picture details within each frame to produce natural and sharp looking images. In addition the exclusive System Daylight View™ 2 feature that produces clear, well defined colors even in brightly-lit rooms, such as galleries, museums and education environments which can be exposed to varying levels of light.
The newly designed Eco filter is featured in each model providing a maximum of 12,000 hours replacement cycle, greatly reducing maintenance cost and management. Both models are cooled by a high efficient liquid cooling system, which enables operation in temperature between 0-45 degrees Celsius.
“We’ve taken the best of our D6000 series and put it into a compact projector that is suitable for bright environments without comprising on picture quality,” said Yoshitaka Inuzuka, European Technical & Marketing, Panasonic. “We’ve standardized our lamps so customers who have invested in D6000 or DZ570 projectors already can significantly reduce additional inventory costs by using the same lamp across the board.”
The new projectors feature Edge Blending Functionality and Multi-Screen Support System suitable for projections onto wide screens or to create seamless images across multiple surfaces. Both models can be purchased with or without standard lens. However, the PT-DW730ELS/PT-DX800ELS projectors come with a choice of six different optional lenses.
The 1-Chip DLP projectors will be on display at InfoComm 2011 and available in Europe in August 2011.
