Ayrstone Productivity Selects Board of Advisors

Ayrstone Productivity LLC today announced the members of the company’s Board of Advisors (BOA). The five members of the Ayrstone Productivity BOA will advise the Ayrstone principals and staff about managing the finance, sales, marketing and other facets involved with operating the new company.

Hughes brings real-world experience with the Ayrstone product line to the BOA serving as a beta tester for Wi-Fi and networking products in development.

Kyle Krug brings a background in technical sales to the Ayrstone BOA having worked for several wireless-focused businesses including IPWireless, NextNet Wireless and a rural ISP called Prairie INet. He has also played key roles in business development and with initiating startup businesses.

Clay Mitchell manages a family farm just south of Waterloo, Iowa. Mitchell is a Harvard graduate and was a Saltonstall Fellow in Agronomy at Cornell University. He was featured in the 2011 World Economic Forum’s New Vision for Agriculture and was a contributor to the National Academy of Science’s report on 21st Century Agriculture. Mitchell has helped test Ayrstone products on his farm since the spring of 2009.

Phil Neff, general manager of Critereon Company, LLC, near Indianapolis, oversees daily operations for that company, finance and product strategic planning. In addition to his experience at an entrepreneurial company, Neff spent many years at DuPont working in supply chain and business management.

Prakash Ramachandran, chief financial officer at Polyera Corporation, is a finance professional with more than 25 years experience. Ramchandran has held several high level financial positions at Silicon Valley technology companies and brings key experience with venture equity investors to the Ayrstone BOA. A professional accountant in India and the United Kingdom, he also has a master’s degree in management from Stanford University.
