Feather Schwartz Foster to Address Montclair Writers

(openPR) - NJ author Feather Schwartz Foster will be the guest speaker at a meeting of The Write Group, a Montclair writers’ society, on Tuesday, April 10. The group meets at 10:15 a.m. at the Montclair Library.
She will discuss From Amateur to Professional- a writer's journey. According to Ms. Foster, “Every author needs to find his or her own path. In today’s market, just about anybody can be published. The important thing is to be a good writer.”
Ms. Foster is the author of historical fictions “LADIES: A Conjecture of Personalities”, about the old First Ladies (Martha Washington through Mamie Eisenhower), and “Garfield’s Train”, about the death of President James Garfield in Long Branch, NJ, in 1881.
Her newest effort, a children’s book for boys and girls grades 3-8, called “T: An Auto-Biography” will be launched by Red Engine Press on April 21 at a book event-signing at the Scotch Plains Library, between 1-2:30 PM. The library is located at 1927 Bartle Avenue, Scotch Plains..
In addition to her books, Ms. Foster has made more than 200 lectures around the state discussing the “old” First Ladies.
