“I look forward to continuing to grow with the company”, stated Nachimson after being promoted to Sales Manager for E&T Plastics’ Long Island City branch. “As part of this continued growth, we will be hiring salespeople in both Long Island City and Teterboro”. E&T Plastics is one of the largest plastics distributors in the United States, with eight locations and a multi-million dollar inventory. Experienced salespeople use their expertise to assist customers in selecting the right material for the application. The company is now recruiting even more plastics experts as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
Robert Nachimson has been with E&T Plastics for nearly 9 years. Nachimson has played a significant role in E&T Plastics’ marketing efforts, developing a comprehensive company catalog and other marketing materials. He also works with local artists, assisting them in selecting the best material to bring their visions to life. Most recently, Nachimson assisted artist Martin Basher on material selection for Basher’s Public Art Fund installation, on display at Metrotech Plaza in downtown Brooklyn through September. “Your advice on plastic was essential to my getting the project done”, Basher said to Nachimson.
“This is a well-deserved promotion for Robert who has been an incredible asset to E&T since joining us in 2002. I am sure he will excel in this position as he has in his prior roles in both sales and marketing with us”, says Greg Gillen, Vice President of Sales for E&T Plastics.
