Quantum Leap was selected as one of the top 10 Innovators in the BluePrint Health IT Innovation Summit Mid-Atlantic Region held on Thursday, May 26, 2011 in Philadelphia, PA.

Leveraging multiple private and public sector sources, the Summit recruited 40 Innovators from across the U.S. and beyond. The Blueprint Health IT Summit Advisory Board, consisting of executives from leading healthcare organizations, top entrepreneurs and other industry experts narrowed the group down to 20 Semi-Finalists. Then, with input from the participating hospitals, Quantum Leap Innovations was selected as one of the top 10 Finalists.

Quantum Leap participated in the BluePrint Health IT Innovation Summit “speed-dating” sessions. The goal of these sessions was for each hospital to select the top two Innovators with which they would like to develop a partnership. Quantum Leap was officially selected as a top vendor by two hospitals and has 3 other hospitals interested in further discussions.

The vision of the BluePrint Health IT Innovation Summit Series is to accelerate and optimize patient care capabilities for providers, users and consumers of health information technology by showcasing and fostering innovation through a national platform for education and collaboration which matches Providers with Health IT Innovators.
