May 31, 2011 | Eyal Adar, founder and CEO of White Cyber Knight Inc., was selected to give the keynote speech at the upcoming Norwegian Security Summit. This summit is organized by The Norwegian Centre for Information Security (NorSIS) and Gjøvik University College / Norwegian Information Security Laboratory (GUC / NISlab).

About Security Summit: Security Summit brings information security leaders, experts and key personnel in the field together to exchange experiences and knowledge. Participants will, through lectures and discussions to obtain a clearer picture of current practice and an insight into developments in the field. The format of the talks is an open and collegial think tank where the views and arguments related to topical issues are exchanged. The benefit for participants is that they can bring their exchange of views back to their respective companies and strengthen their internal security. The gathering is intended as an open and collegial think tank where the views and arguments related to topical issues are exchanged. Security Summit is a closed group and participation is based on invitation. By building trust between participants, the goal is to achieve an open discussion of challenges, concerns, and measures between the participants. To achieve this, the Security Summit consists of a small exclusive group of leaders and experts.

About NorSIS: NorSIS is part of the Government's overall commitment to information security in Norway. NorSIS works to embed information security as a natural part of everyday life. The target group is Norwegian companies in the private and public sectors.

About NISlab: NISlab is an international research group at University College in Gjøvik working in several areas of information security, supervisor Ph.D. students and conducts information security education at both Ph.D., M.Sc. and B.Sc. level. NISlab is one of Europe's largest research groups within Information Security in Europe, and had 50 international publications in 2009.

About Eyal Adar: Eyal Adar is a Leading expert in risk management, critical infrastructure protection and IT security. In 2006, Adar founded White Cyber Knight Inc., Which developed comprehensive IT risk analysis and risk management software for large and medium-sized organizations. Adar has been heavily involved with governance, IT risk and compliance management since 1999. He has believed from that start that this field would it grow to be as important as it ultimately did. Today, Adar is one of the key thought leaders and researchers in this field. He was asked join two academic research teams in recognition of the work he did with key projects in European banks and his historical ability to bridge research and business Requirements into successful tools.

White Cyber Knight (WCK) was founded in 2006 in order to provide managers with a better understanding and more effective management skills for their GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) status.
