Munich, 26.05.2011 – The Munich based production house remote control productions (rcp) is traveling to the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles again this year, to speak with international industry representatives and to strengthen established relationships. The actual portfolio includes diverse titles from the retail, browser and download sectors for PC, console and mobile devices.
remote control productions was recently involved in successful deals for the Munich based developer Chimera Entertainment in the field of iPhone games development. Other successes include the free2play browser game “Warstory – Europe in Flames” (via GamesInFlames), whose community continues to grow and has reached Version 2.5; and the release of “Zeit²” by Brightside Games which was released at the beginning of the year on Xbox Live Arcade with publisher Ubisoft. At E3 2011, rcp will be presenting games from the following studios: Chimera Entertainment, Brightside Games, Bitfield, Clockstone Studio, Newtracks and Piece of Pie Studios, as well as games from the browser games label GamesInFlames.
Christopher Kellner, Business Development Manager at rcp, says: “German developers have been gaining more and more ground in the international games business, especially in the fields of browser and social games. We have some very successful Germany companies in regards to this. As rcp, we are on site in the US to exhibit our expertise in this sector.”
Michael Stapf, Creative Producer at rcp, adds: “We are very satisfied with the diversity of our portfolio. Apart from the classic retail market, we are also covering mobile games, digital downloads, social games and browser games of high quality. By this, we again show that Germany can offer high quality games in many sectors of the games industry.”
