Press release from: Association Marketing
The 2011 Long-Term Care Insurance Sourcebook has just been made available from the American Association for Long-Term Care Insurance. The 48-page publication is a compendium of new research conducted by the organization as well as the latest and most relevant information regarding LTC planning and insurance products.
"Each year we conduct extensive research to obtain the most relevant data that will help producers answer virtually any prospect question," explains Jesse Slome, executive director of the Association www.aaltci.org. "The Sourcebook is the single compendium of all LTC-relevant information."
The 2011 Sourcebook provides comprehensive information on buyers of individual, multi-life and group long-term care insurance products. For the first time, data on buyers of annuity+LTC and life+LTC products is included as well as detailed information on the long-term care insurance claimants. "We studied when policyholders go on claim as well as detailed information regarding the industry's largest claims."
In addition the publication contains 2011 cost of care studies for home care, cost of assisted living communities and costs for nursing home care across the country. "Sales of long-term care insurance continue to increase," notes Jesse Slome. "Some 400,000 new individuals were covered by this protection bringing the total to over eight million."
