San Diego Golf Academy announces its graduates are preparing to tee off for the inaugural SDGA Alumni Golf Tour to St. Andrews, Scotland

March 27, 2007 SCOTTSDALE, AZ. - The golf industry's premier golf college, San Diego Golf Academy (SDGA) announces its graduates are preparing to tee off for the inaugural SDGA Alumni Golf Tour to the ancestral home of golf - St. Andrews, Scotland. The seven-day, six-night golf tour is open to all SDGA graduates, staff, family and friends, and will run from April 22 to April 29, 2007.

“We welcome any and all of our graduates to join us for this inaugural tour to St. Andrews,” says Patty Adams, director of marketing for San Diego Golf Academy. “We'll spend a fun-filled week discovering the great golf courses of the Kingdom of Fife, enjoying the town of St. Andrews, staying at the world-famous Turnberry Resort, and playing the courses that will host the 2008 and 2009 Open Championships. We're very excited to make this dream golf trip a reality for SDGA graduates.”

SDGA tour group members will receive four- and five-star accommodations, five rounds of golf, breakfast daily, two dinners, deluxe motor coach transportation and each golfer will receive a logoed fleece pullover for the cool Scottish spring. In addition, the coach and driver/guide will transport the group from the airport, provide shuttle service to the golf courses, and be available for the first four days for sightseeing excursions to unforgettable destinations such as castles, palaces and abbeys. SDGA will also provide a welcome reception on the first evening in Scotland, as well as an awards reception following the final round.

SDGA partnered with The Golf Group, Inc. to give its alumni, staff and their friends and family a great opportunity to visit the birthplace of golf, explains Adams. The tour is limited to 24 golfers, so interested graduates should reserve space today. Prices start at $2,150 per person with twin occupancy. Official registration is now available through The Golf Group SDGA Scotland Golf Trip Reservation form or email Doug Feeney with SDGA at def@sdgagolf.com to request additional information.
