The site is first in India which is solely dedicated to the paying guest community. Both providers and seekers can post their requirements for free. What more can you ask, compared to a single advertisement in the leading newspapers for at least Rs.300, the site answers a need for a no-charge meeting ground.

Balbir Dhamrait a programmer based in Chandigarh one fine day heard an idea from a friend Pankaj based in New Delhi, about how students are a harassed lot spending valuable time looking for a decent accommodation all over the city. “Panwallahs, Barber shops, Karyana owners and the like would take commission on a deal from both sides. Why not put your knowledge to use and create a web-site where both providers and seekers can meet free of charge.” This was in the month of January this year when the conversation started morphing into a plan to structure the site and two months of testing brought the desired result, www.payinguests.com .

The main feature of this site is that both seekers and providers of accommodation can post their advertisement free of charge. Advertisements are arranged city-wise for easy reference. Advertisers are sent e-mail automatically when someone contacts them.

Another commendable effort made is to have a detailed advertisement based on facilities available or needed such as if the accommodation is near a park, power back-up, table lamp, rent limit and other parameters.
